PASTOR POURS ACID ON HIS EX LOVER FOR DUMPING HIM IN ZIMBABWE

A married Pastor named Reverend Rosbon Munamba, has been arrested for pouring raw acid on his estranged lover, Rudo Bakasa in Zimbabwe.According to Zimbabwean media Iharare.co, Rev. Rosbon was a friend of Rudo’s ex husband and got into a relationship with her after her marriage ended.

They dated briefly and then she decided to call off the relationship. Her decision to call off their relationship made Reverend Rosbon angry.

After Rudo refused his pleading for them to get back together, he attacked her with acid.Narrating how he attacked her, Rudo said

“He would always say he would kill me if I decided to dump him but I didn’t believe him until the day he pounced on me. I had on several occasions tried to end things to the extent of changing my phone numbers but somehow he would always phone me. On the day in question he attacked me, he had phoned the

previous night saying that he wanted to see me. I told him that I would not be around since I wanted to attend a funeral in my rural home in Goromonzi. He asked me if I was really serious about ending the relationship and I insisted that it was over. He again started with the threats telling me that no one dumps him,”Rudo said

Rudo who is currently receiving medical attention at the Parirenyatwa Hospital in Harare, said she was shocked to find the Reverend waiting for her at the Bus Stop

“So as we were walking towards my home, he then produced a container from his bag and tried forcing me to drink the liquid. Before I could even notice what was in the container he held my mouth and tried to force me to open it, he almost strangled me and because he missed my mouth part of the liquid got into my ear and the other side of the face. He then started pouring the rest of the liquid all over my body and I was in so much pain, I started screaming for help and immediately I was undressed I guess because of the effect of the acid. I am in pain but I want you to hear my story. I am sure when people heard me screaming, they thought it was because of the funeral I was supposed to attend. I fell and I don’t know what happened next because I should have passed out. I am sure he also ran away during that time” she said.

Reverend Munamba who is the pastor of Full Gospel of Christ based in Botswana will appear in court soon.

Dealing With Misconceptions : 10 Things The Bible Never Said About Creation

Hello Christians who are really passionate about God . Today , I want to talk about many misconceptions about the creation story . I've read interesting debates concerning this issue(creation story) and I want to address some things most Christians find mind boggling . 
Errmm , I wanted to write about pre-adamic creation (life before Adam , yes there was) but let me deal with this first. 

So here are few things the Bible never said about the creation story

1.The beginning was 6,000 years ago 
Genesis 1:1

1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

Ive always talked about God being a self-existent and ageless being .He is the creator of living things , planets , universe etc. Now ,this verse has always been misunderstood . Its just talking about the original creation of the universe billions of years ago .

2.The earth was created 6,000 years ago 
Genesis 1:1-2

1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.

My God ! Christians have been mocked with the 'earth is 6,000 years old ' thingy and its very embarrassing . People get these two verses mixed up . Periods of Genesis 1:1 and Genesis 1:2 are different . Genesis 1:2 is talking about the period of restoration of earth and recreation of natural forms in it . A lot happened between these two periods which will be addressed in another thread.

3.Light and darkness were created in day 1 as seen in Genesis 1:5

Genesis 1:5

5 God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day.

The functionalities of the sun and moon on earth were restored on day 1

4.The sun , moon and stars were created on day 4

No no no they weren't .They were created in the beginning before the existence of earth . God just regulated them in connection with the restored earth

5.Animals , birds ,man were first created on day 5 and 6

Some were created during the pre-adamic age but were destroyed by the first universal flood (Lucifer's flood). This would be addressed fully in a new thread . A quick bible reference

2 Peter 3:5-7

5 But they deliberately forget that long ago by God’s word the heavens came into being and the earth was formed out of water and by water. 6 By these waters also the world of that time was deluged and destroyed. 7 By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly.

6.Vegetation came forth for the first time in day 3 . 
Dear Christian, Jeremiah 4:23-26 doesn't agree with you

23 I looked at the earth,and it was formless and empty;and at the heavens,and their light was gone.

24 I looked at the mountains,and they were quaking;all the hills were swaying.

25 I looked, and there were no people;every bird in the sky had flown away.
26 I looked, and the fruitful land was a desert; all its towns lay in ruins before the Lord, before his fierce anger.

This proves that there was vegetation during the pre-adamic age

7.The earth was created 6,000 years ago

No sir/ma , it was restored 6,000 years ago 
A quick look at Genesis 1:1-2

1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.

"... and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters ", what waters ? And we all thought the earth was created in day 3 ! Seeeee ... after God destroyed everything on earth in the first universal flood , there was chaos and it was flooded . God then began its restoration as His Spirit was hovering over the waters.

And yes ,Satan lived among the pre-adamic men or during the age of the 'first earth' .Look at Isaiah 14:12-14

12 How you have fallen from heaven,morning star, son of the dawn!
You have been cast down to the earth,you who once laid low the nations!

13 You said in your heart,“I will ascend to the heavens.I will raise my throne above the stars of God.I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly,on the utmost heights of Mount Zaphon.[a]
14 l ascend above the tops of the clouds;I will make myself like the Most High.”

This happened during pre-adamic age not after the 'creation ' ( recreation) . Some think this happened moments before the "talking snake" caused the fall of man

8.That Adam was the first man God created .
Adam was a recreation of man in God's image . Isaiah 14:12-14 , Jeremiah 4:23-26 and 2 Peter 3:5-7 quoted above have already proven that 'men and nations' existed before Adam .

9.That the universe , earth are a product of evolution .
Nope, God created all of them

Ephesians 3:9

9 and to make plain to everyone the administration of this mystery, which for ages past was kept hidden in God, who created all things

Colossians 1:15-18

15 The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. 17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. 18 And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy.

10. Man is a product of evolution - from lower life forms , to cave men 
The Bible says God created man perfect and intelligent 
Genesis 1:27

27 So God created mankind in his own image,in the image of God he created them;male and female he created them.

Evolution denies the first cause. The theory starts with matter being in existence . The theory is that all forms of life derived from gradual modification from simpler forms to a complex form.

Genesis 1:21

21 So God created the great creatures of the sea and every living thing with which the water teems and that moves about in it, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.

A Christian should not accept evolution because

1.evolution says man evolved from beast , so our Lord Jesus Christ was an evolved beast or a product of evolution?
2.The bible clearly stated that we (men) are created in God's image , ET clearly denies that
3.ET also degrades God's image to a mere beast
4.It nullifies the idea of the Bible creation by God
5. It denies miracles , the supernatural and the bodily resurrection of Christ ... and I can go on and on

2015 Prophecies , 8 Men Of God , Different Revelations, Who Should We Believe ?

If by now, you have  read at least two, three or more of the several prophecies for 2015 from the different Nigerian men of God, then you are probably as confused as we are.
These men of God hear from the same God but they come up with slightly different visions for Nigeria this year – but who are we to judge?
Their prophecies revolved around the Nigerian economy, Ebola, the upcoming general election, Aso Rock intrigues, the entertainment industry, death, death and more death.


Kick starting the trend is the highly respected General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God who revealed his at the cross over night.

He revealed that the dreaded Ebola Virus Disease, which has killed over 7,000 people so far, will finally die, he however warned that God said the world should pray against “massive calamities, massive earthquakes and strong hurricanes and typhoons.”

On the February elections, he said “Unfortunately, because it is election year, I can’t tell you all that God told me about Nigeria. But I will tell you this: “By the end of the year, many will say ‘all is well that ends well.’”

Not quite agreeing with Adeboye, Prophet Iginla who is based in Abuja, says Ebola will return to Nigeria.

He released his 2015 prophecy during a special service in his church at Kubwa, Abuja days ago.
On the February Elections: No matter how powerful or well organized 2015 election is, it will be faulted.  I am not a politician nor belong to any political party, I am just speaking God’s mind. The person sitting on the seat might not be perfect, but he will retain the seat. It’s not guess work. Howbeit, it will be a battle between the lion and the  tiger…Shortly after the election, especially on the night of the election, there will be great vandalisation. I see cars being burnt, lives killed.
GEJ’s health and death in Aso Rock: President Jonathan will win, but he has to pray about his health and so many political blows. I pray the two people that enter the Aso Villa will leave together. That’s why we should pray for the woman beside the president. The president and wife should pray that the first lady would finish the tenure together and not losing one before the end of their tenure.
On fake pastors: Also, many men of God indulging in voodoo or occultism, mixing white with black will experience God’s judgement in 2015. Great judgement in the sense that they will be exposed and lots of things will happen that will be the end of such ministries.   I saw a very popular man of God who is highly respected mourned.
The reason is that his wife will be called to glory. It will be a great shock to him because he is highly respected. I am not permitted to mention his name.
Plane crash: I see great politicians and ministers in one aircraft. Three prominent faces were among them, but the plane crashed. They should be careful of traveling in group, irrespective of where they are going…Specifically, Kogi State Governor should pray to survive 2015. I saw him struggling for breath.
Entertainment Industry: A very popular musician, young artiste who sings secular songs should pray against death. He is like someone trying to sell his soul to the devil and it resulted to death. I am not permitted to mention his name.
ASUU: I see ASUU strike and it will be long and will shake the system, but restored later. I see Russian economy under attack by a strange hand. They have to pray so that a strong country like that won’t be brought low prowling for survival.
Death: I see a former president of Nigeria giving up the ghost this year. And people trooping down to his home state for burial. His candle light has burned out already and nothing we can do to it.

The General Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, Dr D.K Olukoya, on the other hand spoke in parables. He described 2015 as a mysterious year, caution year and dribble year.

“I will speak in parables. This year is going to be a mysterious, cautious and dribbling year, so, you will have to find the solutions instead of diagnosing the problems carried by the year.”

Moving on, founder of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Oke-Afa, Lagos, Primate Elijah Ayodele Babatunde,  had quite alot to say but he had a similar prophecy with Prophet Igina.


General elections: This year’s election will throw up a lot of issues. President Goodluck Jonathan will do everything to win a second term, however, he needs 14 days prayer to have a peaceful reign to enable him complete a second term. Chairman of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof. Attahiru Jega will be confused during the polls. There will be several gimmicks to cajole the INEC to rig the election.  E-voting will not work. There will be ballot box snatching and stuffing during the election.
GEJ’s health and death in Aso Rock: The President should also commit his health and that of his wife to prayer. Jonathan is in the midst of enemies who are after his life.
Economy: The stock exchange will rise in the early part of the year. Effect of devaluation of naira will continue till around August. Minister of Finance, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, despite her World Bank background, will not be able to make appreciable impact on the economy. Some banks will collapse and one of the dead banks will be resuscitated.
Entertainers: Journalists and Nollywood stars need prayers against sudden death. National secretariat of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) will experience crisis.
ASUU: Some universities will be shut because of cultism and some Vice Chancellors will be queried.
Plane Crash: We need to pray to avoid plane crash in Lagos, Abuja and Kano airports. Presidential jets should be sanctified to avoid artificial disaster.
Ebola:  There will be fresh cases of Ebola in the year, let those in the health sector double their efforts.
Death: We should pray against death of one of the outgoing governors, a first lady and communication guru.

Pastor Tunde Bakare of the Latter Rain Assembly, while speaking during the church’s crossover service solely prophesied on the Chibok girls.

“The Chibok girls will be returned this year; some people will say ‘they are just using religion to deceivethemselves. How will the girls be rescued?’ You will see. I didn’t say it, it is what God said and I believe it.”
And then prophesied joy!
“Whether you are from the East or from the West or from the North or the South, you will experience joy in 2015. Other nations will say ‘how did they do it.’ It will be indescribable joy. The nations of the earth will testify. I bring good tidings of joy to every part of the nation…”
Acclaimed man of God, Apostle Johnson Suleiman  had lots of bad news for the Nation.  One of his prophecies was that 2015 election would be a replica of June 12. He said Jonathan should be prayerful as there are plans to kill him and going international, he said Queen Elizabeth will pass on this year.
Queen Elizabeth: Britain needs prayers because of her Queen.
GEJ’s health and Aso Rock: I see president Goodluck Jonathan coming back but troubles….Patience Jonathan needs serious prayers.
General Elections: 2015 presidential election will be rigged, marred in violence and end up in court case.2015 election is another June 12. The man who truly won will not govern or rule.
Men of God:  A great Pentecostal man of God been called to glory. A popular Abuja pastor needs serious prayers. I saw mourning. Prophets who deceive people, collects their properties, charge money, will face great judgment this year. A great man of God whose first name begins with 3rd letter and Surname with 15th letter needs serious prayers. I saw serious crisis and crying. Please let’s pray for him.
Economy: I saw the Naira falling greatly. It became N200 (two hundred naira) to 1$ (a dollar).
Entertainment Industry: Three popular musicians will die; one of them is a young boy.
Plane Crash: Pray against three major Air disasters between February and October.
Oh by the  way, he had a word for er, El Rufai.
“El Rufai should go and sit down. For abusing Jesus, he will not win Kaduna election.”

T.B Joshua of The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations (SCOAN) in Lagos, on his part, declared 2015 to be ‘the year of good morning’.

“If you are expecting a New Year, you must be pure in heart,” he stressed, reminding the faithful of Jesus Christ’s words in Matthew 5:8. “If not, the troubled year of 2014 will continue in 2015,” he warned.
“No matter what this coming year brings, if you are more of God, your trials are the soil in which your faith will flourish,” he enjoined the congregation.
He stressed that the freedom the Bible speaks of in John 8:36 is spiritual not physical, insisting that a ‘free spirit,’ was needed for Christians to enjoy peace throughout 2015. “This liberation of your spirit is all you need to have the best year,” he stated.
And then, Bishop Oyedepo of Winners chapel crowned it with his good news!
The year 2015 will be a year with clear distinctions, he began.
He maintained that giants would rise up in all sectors of human endeavour adding that there would be a sudden rise of giants in Zion.
“In 2015, nobody will doubt those who serve God; It will be clear that we are only in the world, not of the world; in 2015, my God will wipe away all your tears; There shall be no occasion for mourning or weeping; Throughout 2015, you are not permitted to bury anyone in your life because there shall be no more death; in 2015, some things that cause you sorrow will be far from you and in 2015, you will not need any medication to be healthy.
There shall be a rise of many giants – giants in all sectors of human endeavor; Men like nations will rise in the year 2015; Men that will command attention of many nations shall arise in 2015 and God has brought us into the realm of heaven on earth, where men will live like angels”

#Lobatan! Bishop Oyedepo orders church members to present their PVCs

The founder of the Living Faith Church (aka Winners Chapel), Bishop David Oyedepo has directed members of his church to attend next Sunday service with their Permanent Voters Card.

Oyedepo who pastors one of the biggest Christian congregation on the continent said this at the church’s mid-week service which took place today at the church permanent site at Km 10, Idiroko road, Sango Ota, Ogun State.

He ordered members to present their cards so that it can be prayed upon in preparation for the February 14 elections.
