So Touching! Check Out How Bishop Oyedepo Pays Tribute To Fallen Myles Munroe

Bishop Oyedepo  has written a tribute to Myles Munroe who died alongside his wife and seven others this month in a plane crash.

Myles and I called ourselves ‘twin brothers’
Myles, my twin brother is gone up to glory
Ruth, his partner in life and death has gone to eternal rest
Faith and I miss you both!

Our moments together on this side of the Jordan were most memorable.
We stayed together on several occasions under the same roof
We lodged in same hotels time and again; we shared the platform together preaching the
good news of the Kingdom over the years.
Our friendship of over 24 years was a most enriching and adventurous one,
Our partnership in ministry was also a most profitable and rejuvenating one.

Myles, my twin brother
A bundle of inspiration
A man of spiritual depth and insight
A leader of leaders and teacher of teachers
Ruth, a bundle of joy and divine radiance
Your smiles were ever contagious,
You exhumed gentleness, love and care like a fountain
You were indeed a priceless jewel!
The two of you were swifter than eagles
You literally traversed the globe
As you taught nations the principles of the Kingdom
You were both as strong as the unicorn,
Energetic, untiring, never relenting, purposeful and focused
I could still remember, Myles and I took all the inaugural induction lectures for the pioneer
Faculty and Staff of Covenant University in August 2002.
All of Myles’ meetings on our church platform were ever inspiring and impactful.

The Living Faith Church Worldwide really misses you!

Good night Myles, my twin brother!
Good night Ruth, his partner in life and in death

'Why We’re still Probing Bishop David Oyedepo'– UK Govt.

The British government, through its Charity Commission, has said it is still considering the financial information the Living Faith Church International popularly known as Winners Chapel belonging to the popular pentecostal clergyman, David Oyedepo.

The CC is responsible for registering eligible organisations in England and Wales which are established for only charitable purposes, taking enforcement action when there is malpractice or misconduct and ensuring charities meet their legal requirements. It also provides information on their activities each year, making appropriate information about each registered charity widely available, providing online services and guidance to help charities run as effectively as possible.

Responding to an email enquiry by SUNDAYPUNCH, the commission’s spokeswoman, Sarah Hitchings, told our correspondent that the consideration of the church’s finances by the British government did not qualify as conducting an investigation on the church.

Hitchings said, "We are not ‘investigating’ the charity. In the terms of our regulatory work, an ‘investigation’ is another word for ‘statutory inquiry’, the highest level of our investigatory work.

"We are not investigating Winners Chapel; we have an operational case open into the charity."

According to her, following concerns raised from some quarters in the United Kingdom about Winners Chapel London (charity number 1134421), the commission has been reviewing a number of issues including conflicts of interest, concerns about the reputation management of the church and its financial management.

"It has taken some time for the review to scrutinise the information available to determine the extent of any regulatory concerns.
"We have now met with the trustees, and are satisfied that we have no regulatory concerns relating to conflicts of interest and the reputation management of the charity. We are still considering financial information supplied by the charity to reach a conclusion on the issue of financial management,” the spokeswoman stated.

"At this stage, we cannot comment on the details of the case; however, it is our usual policy to report on the outcomes of our work once we have reached a conclusion. Please note, we are not ‘investigating’ the charity."

In a related development, the British agency in its inquiry reports made available on its website also accused the Redeemed Christian Church of God’s New Life Assembly (House of Prayer for All Nations), with charity number 1084582, of failing to submit to the commission annual accounts and reports and annual returns required for the financial years ending December 31, 2011 and December 31, 2012 until later this year.

The report noted, "The Charity was sent various computer generated reminders from the Commission regarding the submission of their annual accounting documents. In addition, the Commission attempted to contact the Charity by telephone on 10 April 2014. Further to this the Commission wrote to the Charity with a final warning on 10 April 2014 requesting that the missing documents be provided by 3 May 2014.

"During the Inquiry the Charity filed the missing annual accounts and reports and annual returns. The annual accounts and reports and annual return for the financial year ending 31 December 2011 were submitted on 8 August 2014, together with the annual report for the financial year ending 31 December 2012. The accounts for the financial year ending 31 December 2012 were submitted on 26 August 2014."

The General Overseer That Paid Kidnappers N2m To Murder Okigwe LG Chairman Finally Revealed (Photo)

The General Overseer of the Kingdom of God Conscious Movement International, 65-year-old Rev Lord Ojee also known as Nduwusi Kanu is now cooling off in police cell after being fingered as the mastermind of the kidnap and murder of the former Chairman of Okigwe Local Government Area of Imo State, Hon. Godwin Igbo who was 70-year-old at the time of the incident.

The cleric was said to have hired a gang of kidnappers for a fee of N2m, out of which he made an initial deposit of N50,000 for the abduction of Igbo over an alleged land dispute and chieftaincy title
of Eze Agu Nechenba 1 of Ikpoeze 1 of Arondizuogu community in Imo State.

The operation, which went awry, led to the death of the former council boss who was thereafter buried in a shallow grave in a thick forest at Lokpanta, Abia State by his abductors.

Saturday Sun reports that police investigations into the matter, however, led to the arrest of two of the kidnappers, one of them, a nephew to Rev Lord Ojee, 22-year-old Adindu Chukwu a.k.a. Alhaji and a 27-year-old Udoh Amaechi Oko who both collected N500,000 as ransom from the family of the deceased even after he was murdered.

The Enugu State Commissioner of Police, Mr Mohammed Adamu said the former council chief was on a transit to Enugu State on April 10, 2014 when he was kidnapped, murdered and buried in a shallow grave in a thick forest at Lokpanta, Abia State.

CP Adamu said he received a petition by the family of the deceased in May over the kidnap. The police boss subsequently transferred the case to the Anti-Kidnappers Squad to investigate. It was learnt that in the course of investigations by the Alex Akinlalu-led team, detectives had an encounter with two suspected kidnappers, one of them identified as ‘Black’, a cult member of Vicking Confraternity who received gunshot injuries and later died. But before he died, the police were able to recover two phones of the late Godwin Igbo from him.

‘Black’ was also said to have confessed before he died that he was part of the gang that killed the late Igbo and buried him in an Abia forest. On October 15, the Anti-Kidnappers Squad arrested Udoh Ameachi Oko at Okigwe in Imo State and this also led to the arrest of Adindu Chukwu a.k.a. Alhaji at Garikki in Okigwe, Imo State. Chukwu was said to have confessed that it was Lord Ojee, who sent them to kidnap the late Godwin Igbo with a promise to give them N2m, out of which he gave them N50,000 “for drinks and welfare.”

This in turn led to the arrest of the General Overseer of God Conscious Movement International, Rev Lord Ojee at Uratta road junction, Aba/Port Harcourt road, Aba. All the suspects, the police boss confirmed, are now at the Anti-Kidnapers Squad’s custody where they have allegedly confessed to the crime.

In his confession, one of the suspects, Chukwu a.k.a. Alhaji said:
“Rev Lord Ojee is my uncle. He is the younger brother to my mother. Rev Lord Ojee comes to the village, Umulolo Okigwe every month and he had a misunderstanding with the late Godwin Igbo over 10 years ago over land dispute and the chieftaincy title of “Eze Agu Nechenba 1 of Ikpo Eze 1 of Arondizuogu community. My uncle, Rev Lord Ojee approached me and wanted me to organise some boys to kidnap the late Godwin Igbo to show him that he has power.
I had to meet ‘Black’, one of the leaders of kidnappers who is now late and he organised five members for the job and that include myself. My uncle promised to settle us with N2 million if the job was accomplished and he gave me N50,000 for drinks and welfare which we used to enjoy ourselves before we carried out the operation” , he said.
Chukwu further confessed:
“We went to the late Godwin Igbo to kidnap him in his village at Ekpa Eze in Aro Ndinuzo –Ogu in Okigwe Local Government Area of Imo State around 8.00pm on April 10, 2014. We took him away and we kept the victim inside a Toyota car and put him in the boot of the car. He fainted and in the process he died.
We took the corpse of the late Igbo into a thick forest and buried him in a shallow grave on April 10, 2014. We collected the deceased’s two phones and called his family members and demanded N2 million ransom. The family members didn’t know that Igbo was dead. They paid N500,000 to us and two days later, I went to meet my uncle, Rev Lord Ojee and explained to him that Godwin Igbo was kidnapped and was dead. The intention of my uncle was not to kill Igbo but to kidnap him and keep him away but unfortunately he died.
I came to meet my uncle, to collect the N2 million that he promised us. My uncle insisted that since we have collected N500, 000 from the deceased’s family that that should be okay for us. My uncle gave me N5,000 for transport.”
Speaking further, Chukwu said:
“My uncle, Ojee quickly called the elders in the village to Genesis Hotel, Okigwe to hear from the elders whether they will mention his name or suspected whether he is the one who killed Godwin Igbo. I have serious quarrel with my uncle for refusing to pay the N2 million he promised us. I was given N60,000 as a share of the money we collected from the deceased’s family.”
Another suspect, Udoh Amaechi Oko, who hails from Afikpo Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, explained:
“It was Chukwu who contacted our gang leader, ‘Black’ who is now late, that we should kidnap Godwin Igbo over a land and chieftaincy dispute with his uncle, Rev Lord Ojee. We kidnapped the deceased and kept him in the boot of the car. Later, he died. We called the deceased’s family and demanded N2 million and they paid N500,000 and I was given a share of N80,000”, he said .
In his reaction, Rev Lord Ojee told Saturday Sun:
“I have been in ministry for almost 50 years. It is true I had a misunderstanding with the deceased, Godwin Igbo for over 10 years. I know the suspect, Adindu Chukwu, he is my elder sister’s son. I heard that Igbo died when they kidnapped him”, he said.
CP Adamu, however, stated that the suspects would soon be charged to court, saying the police had already gone to the scene of the crime to exhume the corpse of Godwin Igbo

Prophet T.B Joshua Threatened with Arrest After Failing To Appear In Court for second time

TB Joshua failed to show up in court For the second time, after being summoned by the coroner, to testify regarding the synagogue building collapse which killed 116.The coroner Oyetade Komolafe, has threatened to order his arrest after failing to show up on November 5 and 19.He said
“We don’t want the impression to be created that The Prophet is avoiding the court,Any of the witnesses who is not in court today will be arrested. I think the court has been lenient enough.”
However,Joshua's lawyer,Olalekan Ojo, told reporters after the hearing:
“We have gone to the high court to challenge the jurisdiction of the coroner to issue a witness summons. The coroner has unconsciously exceeded his jurisdiction in that he has started inquiring into matters that are not causative of deaths. The Prophet has respect for the law of the land and will not do anything that will hurt the law,If at the end of the day, it is appropriate for The Prophet to appear he will be in court. We do not intend to abuse the legal process.Besides, The Prophet has a milk of human kindness. He is still grieving over the horrendous loss of lives. Coming to court is not proper. It is not a good way of showing respect for the dead.”

Kenyan Pastor Makes Women Take Off Panties & Bras During Church

Screen-Shot-2014-03-03-at-6.46.50-AM-624x373

A pastor from a church in Dandora Phase 2, an eastern suburb Nairobi, the Kenyan capital, has ordered all female members to go to the church ‘free’ – That is without bras and panties for Christ to enter their lives.

Reverend Njohi of the Lord’s Propeller Redemption Church has advised female worshippers against wearing any undergarments to the church, calling them ungodly.
In a meeting chaired by him, a law was passed banning the wearing of inner wears. Njohi claims that when going to church, people need to be free in ‘body’ and ‘spirit’ to receive Christ.
He went ahead to warn members of dire consequences if they secretly put on their inner wears. A member of the church who pleaded anonymity said at last Sunday’s service, women dressed as the pastor had ordered without bras and panties.

Mothers were also advised to do same and check their daughters when coming to church on Sundays so as to receive Christ too.

Popular Pastor Impregnates 11-Year Old Girl In Lagos

The pastor in charge of Hepzibah Assembly of all Nations International, located at 2 Arogbo Lane, off Odunbaku Street, Iju Ishaga, Pastor Solomon Eze, 32, a native of Eka, Delta State, southsouth Nigeria, has been sent to prison for indecently assaulting an 11-year old girl in Iju Ishaga, a suburb of Lagos State, southwest Nigeria.

Pastor Eze was alleged to have told the mother of the victim that there is an arrow of death in her house and she must move out to avoid death.

The woman moved into the church with her children to stay and Pastor Eze, according to the complainant, indecently assaulted and also impregnated her 11-year-old daughter.

Trouble started when the woman noticed some strange behaviour by her daughter who complained of stomach pain and showed signs of malaria.

According to the mother, she contacted a nurse who then treated her for malaria, but the sickness continued until she underwent a scan and it was discovered that she was pregnant.

When the mother asked who was responsible, she said it was Pastor Eze. It was discovered that the girl was two months pregnant and when pressed further, she revealed that Pastor Eze gave her holy water to drink and also gave her a red substance to rub on her face.

She added that she became unconscious only for her to see Eze atop her. When she wanted to scream, she said  he used his hand to cover her mouth before having sex with her, and told her she will die if she tells anyone.

The matter was reported at Iju Police Station and after investigation Pastor Eze was arraigned at a Snr Magistrates’ Court, Abule Egba.

The prosecutor, Inspector Rachael Williams, told the court that sometime in August, 2014, Pastor Eze unlawfully and indecently assaulted the victim by forcing her to drink what he described as holy water and gave her a red substance that looked like blood to rub on her face.

He pleaded not guilty to the two-count charge and the presiding magistrate, Mr. T.A. Elias, ordered him to be remanded in prison custody pending the advice from the Directorate of Public Prosecution and adjourned the case till January 2015.

T.B Joshua splashes over N60 Million on burial of victims of South Africans In his collapsed Church building!

According to Encomium, N70 million has been set aside to ameliorate the burden of those the victims left behind.

SCOAN released a statement saying a N750,000 donation would be paid towards funeral expenses of each family of the victims of the church building collapse – and pastors in South Africa have welcomed the pledge by founder of Synagogue Church of All Nations, T.B. Joshua, to donate N750,000 to families of victims of his church building collapse.  The chairman of the Mahikeng Ministers Fellowship (MMF) made the statement on Saturday, October 25, 2014.

"Mahikeng Ministers Fellowship has welcomed the donation of over R4 million announced by the Synagogue Church of All Nations to assist families of victims of the church building collapse in Nigeria meet funeral expenses…" -chairman of MMF Zandisile Mpame said in a statement.
“The announcement of aid to the families that lost their loved ones during the tragic incident does not come as a surprise to those of us in the church who are familiar with Prophet TB Joshua’s global humanitarian and philanthropic activities which have contributed over US200 million over the years towards various causes to alleviate the plight of those in need.”

On Friday, October 24, 2014, SCOAN released a statement saying a N750,000 donation would be paid towards funeral expenses of each family of the victims of the church building collapse.  The church’s spokesman, Kirsten Nematandani said they had done a full audit of each family’s financial needs and assisted with various household expenses as many of the deceased were breadwinners.
He said household expenses varied from rent money to school fees and groceries. It is believed 85 people from South Africa were among those killed when a multi-storey guest house attached to the church, run by Joshua, collapsed in Lagos on September 12.

On Thursday, October 23, 2014, Minister in the Presidency, Jeff Radebe announced that DNA samples of the 116 victims had arrived at a laboratory in South Africa for analysis.

The DNA process was in the hands of the Nigerian authorities, who had appointed a laboratory in Stellenbosch, Western Cape, to do the analysis. Meanwhile, the coroner looking into the incident, Magistrate Oyetade Komolafe, has ruled that Prophet T.B. Joshua should appear at the inquest on November 5, 2014, to share with the court his knowledge of what actually transpired.  The coroner made the declaration in objection to the serial efforts of the counsels to the church to prevent any invitation being extended to the church leader.  When the inquest opened few days back, a lead counsel for SCOAN, Lateef Fagbemi, described the church as a corporate entity, which was at liberty to delegate any member, other than the prophet, to represent it.

Another lawyer representing the church, Nnadi Jude, said the prophet was not a witness to the incident and did not need to attend the inquest.
The coroner held differently, saying that Pastor Joshua definitely has something to share. He, however, adjourned hearing till Tuesday, October 28, 2014. The coroner ordered that the names of all guests who were in the building at the time of the collapse must be submitted to the court to enable the chief pathologist of Lagos State to identify the bodies and return the remains to their families.

Building Collapse: T.B. Joshua To Appear In Court Nov. 5!

According to report by SaharaReporters, The coroner looking into the fatal collapse of a Guest house at the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) in which over 100 persons died, Magistrate Oyetade Komolafe, has ruled that Prophet T.B. Joshua must appear at the inquest on November 5 to share with the court his knowledge of what actually transpired. The coroner made the declaration today as the inquest continued, in objection to the serial efforts of the counsels to the church to prevent any invitation being extended to the church leader.

When the inquest opened last week, a lead counsel for SCOAN, Lateef Fagbemi, described the Church as a corporate entity, which was at liberty to delegate any member, other than the Prophet, to represent it. Another lawyer representing the church, Nnadi Jude, said the Prophet was not a witness to the incident and did not need to attend the inquest.

The coroner held differently, saying that Pastor Joshua definitely has something to share. "The prophet has been speaking to the press and we have been reading him,” he said.  “Let him come and say what he has been telling the press to the court.”

Responding to further attempts by Mr. Jude, the coroner retorted: "Let him come and tell the court what he knows, or is he above the court?"

The inquest today heard from two witnesses. One, from the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA), said in a brief testimony said his agency was on ground to immediately clear the roads to enable rescue teams have easy access to the venue of building collapse at the church.

The second, representing the Lagos State Fire Service, said that the building collapse was not as a result of an explosion as had been alleged. He said there was fire four days after the collapse of the building, but that it arose from the welders' cutting of metals and great heat generated in the course of their operation, which ignited petrochemicals and other combustibles that were lodged in the rubble.

Under cross-examination by Olalekan Ojo, a counsel to SCOAN, the Fire Service witness dismissed suggestions that any explosion happened on the day of the building collapse.

"We rescued 131 alive but they had various degrees of injuries. We also brought out more than 80 dead victims. But all their bodies were intact, none of the bodies were shattered from any explosion", he said.

He stated that as first responders in emergency cases, the Fire Service has a duty to move into any area of physical distress such as collapses that may affect lives.  He said the Service was invited by calls from distressed persons who saw the collapse while it happened.

Adjourning to Tuesday, October 28, the coroner ordered that the names of all guests who were in the building at the time of the collapse must be submitted to the court to enable the Chief Pathologist of Lagos State to identify the bodies and return the remains to their families.

A relative of one of the victim of the building collapse, who identified himself as Ifeanyichukwu Osondu, today in the court lodged a complaint that his family is yet to receive the body of their dead relative.  He said they had already submitted blood samples to the Chief Medical Officer for verification.

The coroner stressed that the list of all guests and other relevant documents regarding the collapse must be provided by the Synagogue Church by Tuesday.

End Time! How Wife connives with pastor to kill husband

According to SUN,  45-year-old Nwebonyi Nwuguru, a native of Edukwu Inyima town was said to have given the land to the General Overseer of Divine Salvation Ministry, Pastor Amos Odorimo, 45, for the purpose of building a church auditorium.

The man’s wife, Roseline, 41, began to attend the church. Nwuguru didn’t initially raise eyebrows over the long hours his wife spent at the church. Somewhere along the line, the pastor opened the door wide for the devil and of course went beyond his pastoral brief. He began to minister to the woman’s body rather than her soul.

At the headquarters of the State Criminal Investigation Department of the Ebonyi State Police Command where he and Roseline are being held as investigation into the alleged murder continues, Odorimo spoke with Sunday Sun.

“I am married and have five children. The deceased Nwebonyi Nwugwu was nice to me. He gave me a hectare of land to build my church. His wife, Roseline Nwuguru attended my church. It was from there that I started having love affair with her. When the love was getting deep we found out that the deceased was disturbing us and we have to plan for him,” Odorimo said.

When Nwuguru got wind of the strong and deep romantic relationship between his wife and Odorimo, the fake pastor, he naturally screamed blue murder. With their love affair known to Nwuguru, Odorimo and Roseline were deeply rattled, but refused entreaties to end the relationship. Rather, they allegedly connived to solve the problem permanently, and invited the devil to be their chief adviser.

Act 2, Scene 2: On September 30, 2014, unsuspecting Nwuguru decided to visit his farm. Promptly, Odorimo offered to give him a ride on his motorcycle. Along the way Odorimo stopped and dismounted from the motorcycle.

Asked what happened thereafter, Odorimo gave this blood chilling response: “I took deceased’s cutlass and cut him on the head. His wife also hit him on the head with a big stick. He died on the spot and we ran away to Benue State, but men of the local vigilance group arrested us and handed us over to the police.”

Roseline Nwuguru, who hails from Ado Local Government Area of Benue State while corroborating the account of Odorimo said: “I have seven children for my late husband. He stopped people from entering the church because he had misunderstanding with Pastor Odorimo. Actually I was having a love affair with Pastor Odorimo. I don’t regret my action and joining in killing my husband. He was a wicked man, because he prevented people from entering the church.”

After speaking with Sunday Sun, the two suspects, Pastor Odorimo and Roseline Nwugwuru ate lunch together from the same plate as a way of showing their love for each other.
Notwithstanding their show of deep affection for each other, Ebonyi State Commissioner, Maigari Dikko has assured that the suspects would have their day in court once the police conclude investigations.

Building collapse: T.B Joshua to appear before coroner Nov. 5th

Prophet T.B Joshua will on Nov. 5th face the Lagos State coroner investigating the circumstances that led to the collapse of the church 5-storey building which killed 115 people.

At a sitting which held today Oct. 24th, the coroner, Magistrate O.A. Komolafe said it was mandatory the man of God and the contractor that handled the building project appear before him to give their own account of what led to the building collapse, a position the defense counsel argued against but was objected by the coroner

"We have heard that he has been addressing the press at various times. Let him come and address the court. The court has summoned him; let him come and tell us what he knows. He cannot sit over there and be sending words to us that he cannot come. The court has said that for the purpose of what we're doing that he should come over.” the coroner said

Pastor Adeboye talks about the time a WAEC official tried to seduce him

Speaking at the church recent convention, RCCG General Overseer, pastor E.A Adeboye revealed to his congregation a time when a female executive at the West African Examinations Council, WAEC, stalked him, followed him all the way to London where she tried to seduce him. He said;
"She said that God told her that I will be her husband. I rebuked and informed her that I am a happily married man with children. Undeterred even by the intervention of her husband and the Inspector General of Police (at that time), she stalked me to London. My threat to report her to London Police (when she phoned me) stopped her physical presence but she never stopped calling me.” Continue...
Pastor Adeboye shared the story to explain to the congregation the different kinds of temptation one can face,  physical, material and spiritual and that he was not left out. He said you can triumph over any difficulties by calling on the holy spirit
"Holy Spirit is the only yoke destroyer. There are certain forces or challenges of life that human beings cannot solve by their own efforts except through the help of the Holy Spirit.”
