After a protracted battle between music star, Tuface Idibia and his family, IDOMA VOICE has gathered that the super star has finally abandoned his building project in his country home.
This is contrary to an earlier report that Mr. Idibia, famously known as Tuface had finally bowed to pressure from his kinsmen and has completed the controversial building.
Recall that Ujah and his mum were almost lynched by some angry youths during the burial of his father, the late Idibia, last November after the star failed to complete his village house as instructed by the family.
IDOMA VOICE exclusively reported that the husband's kinsmen men went as far as hurling stones, sticks and bottle at the widow, calling her crude names.
Latest report from Amufu, Tuface's country home in Okpokwu LGA of Benue State indicates that the star has finally submitted to his mother's will and has since abandoned the building project.
Check by this newspaper shows that the 10-bed room flat, which is located immediately after the Ejeba Village Square has been taken over by weeds.
It was also observed that weeds are literally holding annual general meeting around Tuface's father's grave.
A family source who would not want his name in print told this newspaper that the immediate family of the late Idibia Ije has since resigned to fate as their efforts to make their son understand that there's no place like home could not yield any positive result.
"Na Uja (Tuface's native name) own you dey talk? Abeg talk better thing. That young man forgets that no matter how big he is, he still has a home. The family is even tired of pestering him to build. Since he wants to follow his mother's advice, let him go ahead. One day, he will return home," the visibly disappointed family member said.
Asked if the star has come to visit home ever since his father was interred, the family source angrily replied, "we don't need him. If he come, let him go to his mother's village in Ogege.
However, when this reporter tried to reach Mr. Idibia, a father of six, his phone number was unreachable.
