Scripture: "Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him
up." (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10).
From d beginning, when God started creation of d universe. He is fully aware d effectiveness and important of togedaness(of male and female). From d book of genesis 2:18 "And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him."
1). God is d perfect marchmaker: concern d issue of who u will spend d rest of ur life with, take time to seek God bcs God is perfect."For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of
peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you." (Jeremiah 29:11-12).
2). Cultivate d regular habit of observing quiet time: during dis period u will be familiar with d voice of God bcs der are strange voice out der."And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the
sheep follow him: for they know his voice. And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers. " (John 10:4-5).
3). U nid to remove idol from ur heart( if u want God to help u and really want Him to come in): some of us have more of carnal and outward standard abt who to marry dan spiritual standard. "Therefore speak to them and tell them, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: When any Israelite sets up idols in his heart and puts a wicked stumbling block before his face and then goes to a prophet, I the LORD will answer him myself in keeping with his great idolatry." (Ezekiel 14:4).
4). Dont b deceive by d physical appearance and gift: "Charm and grace are deceptive, and beauty is vain [because it is not lasting], but a woman who reverently and worshipfully fears the Lord, she shall be praised!" (Proverbs 31:30)
5). Seek for Godly counsel: "Where no wise guidance is, the people fall, but in the multitude of counselors there is safety." (Proverbs 11:14).
6). Dont date or make a multiple propose at a time. "Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded." (James 4:8
7). Wait and be fully persuade bfor you make up your mind to knw d person. Young ladies package urself well, dont sell urself too cheap.
8. Dont compromise or fellowship with darkness: "Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part
hath he that believeth with an infidel?." (2 Corinthians 6:14-15).
9). Seek within ur believer and listen to ur Godly parent advice. Remember: der are three will of God, good will, acceptable will and perfect will. Zero ur mind first and allow God to intervene in ur process of choosing partner and perfect will is urs.
